Pulitzer Amsterdam Hotel

Fantastic staff, especially Mike at the concierge desk, who was exceptionally helpful and obliging. Great service at reception, with friendly and helpful staff. Amazing design with lots of thought put into the place. Lovely canal view from the room. Room service dinner was delicious. The toiletries were lovely and the room design was fabulous. Impressed by the English TV channels. The bar was a great place to unwind, with a nice dark decor. The outdoor space, especially the swinging chairs, was a highlight. The hotel is located in a classy area with lots of high-end restaurants.

This hotel offers a luxurious stay with exclusive amenities. the service received was exceptional, and the Jacuzzi on the sun terrace was a perfect relaxation spot. the garden area was well maintained, and the room advantages were lavish. the restaurant served delicious in-room breakfast with beautiful views. the bar/lounge area was sophisticated, and the picnic area/tables were ideal for a serene day. the buffet breakfast had a wide range of options, and the packed lunches were convenient. Special diet menus were also available.

The only minor issue was the private facilities, which were not easily accessible from certain rooms. Despite this, the hotel staff was accommodating and willing to assist in finding the appropriate location.

Wake-up service, available in my a single room, was a nice bonus. The staff were efficient, best, would stay here again: )

Our room had a beautiful canal view, just like in the pictures on the website. The breakfast at Restaurant Jansz was delicious with a great range of dishes. The concierge arranged for us a boat trip on The Tourist which we highly recommend. we enjoyed our stay at Pulitzer.

Our recent trip was truly exceptional - our hotel was located on a stunning Amsterdam canal and was close to great restaurants, while also being away from the hustle and bustle. The gym was fantastic, and we enjoyed exclusive cocktails at the bar. Our room had wonderful views, a comfortable bed, and a luxurious bathroom filled with elegant toiletries. We loved the breakfast buffet and enjoyed every moment.

Although there were plenty of options for dinner, we found the children’s area at dinner time to be a bit loud and disruptive.

Buffet breakfast had lots of options, like breads, eggs, yoghourt and cheese.

My stay in this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, situated between two historic canals and within 20 minutes from the museum area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and all the facilities were top-notch, including the USB charging stations in the rooms. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and gave me a great start to my day.

Hotel looks fairly clean and is brilliant! The location is unbeatable, 10 minutes' walk to Prinsengracht.

I can't stop raving about our charming room at Pulitzer. The view of the canal was enchanting, and the courtyard with the bikes hanging added a quirky touch. We were delighted with the delicious made-to-order breakfast, and the staff made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. The hotel's location was perfect, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and bars, making it a great base for exploring the city. I highly recommend Pulitzer for an unforgettable Amsterdam experience.

We spent three days at Pulitzer and couldn't be happier. The beautiful clean rooms and great location exceeded our expectations. Being just a block away from Anne Frank House was a major plus. The restaurant provided a 5-star meal and the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel's vintage canal boat tour was a unique experience. we highly recommend this hotel for its quality and class.

Travelling alone, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to transport links and boutique shops nearby. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic wet room shower. The complimentary coffee, water, and stroopwafel were a thoughtful touch.

The location and style of the hotel with all its different areas

The first room they gave us was on the first floor, that is, the ground floor, and it was very dark and overlooked a small courtyard where people came and went to look for bicycles. Noisy and not very private. We were moved to a spectacular third floor with two sunny windows and a view of the hammock patio.

The rooms are too small!

The hotel had a great concept of combining multiple buildings to create a unique experience. the service provided by the staff was exceptional and professional. the location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to key attractions and amenities.

The room size was a bit small, but still had all necessary amenities. Housekeeping forgot to knock on two occasions, causing inconvenience.

Breakfast is too expensive for the variety of the buffet on offer. Eggs are à la carte . Very limited choice for a "top-of-the-range" hotel. Check in very long, the reception staff is not always friendly.... The notion of service does not seem to be in line with the level of service we can expect from a luxury hotel.

staff was occasionally inattentive and rude. responsibilities and processes did not seem to be clearly regulated.

The configuration of the hotel is interesting since it is composed of multiple old houses whose facades can be admired on the canal. Inside there are various open spaces or greenhouses for restoration. The staff is young and very friendly.

Small wait on arrival to get our room at 12:30 and a linen that was not clean.

Divine! Excellent Location, Excellent Food and a super bar! I recommend it as one of the best places in Amsterdam to stay.
